Christine Lyons is an artist living in Naples, Florida. A native Floridian, born and raised in Jacksonville, Christine draws much of her inspiration from her natural surroundings using a palette knife to create highly textured and vividly colored compositions on large canvases.
With every painting, Christine brings life indoors through her paintings’ color, size and texture. The majority of her compositions draw on her environment with a twist of abstract color and shape. A form of self-expression, whether it is joyous, loud, bright or peaceful, can be felt in each piece.
With a Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Alabama, Christine began her professional career as an artist in 2006. Since then, she has had the opportunity to work on private installations across the country including a 2015 commission by Proctor & Gamble for a twenty-six-piece series. Her most recent accolade came in January 2016, being named the Featured Artist for the Beaux Arts Festival in Miami.
