Since 1999, the globally collected artist Linda Richichi has earned many Best of Show Awards at national and international plein air paint outs and exhibitions. In 2006, she received Best of Show at a worldwide paintout in Canada. Notably, in 2012 Richichi was voted as National Best Intuitive Artist from About.com (then a NY Times company). In 2019 she earned the Richard Mckinley Mentorship award at the Pastel Society of America exhibit at the National Arts Club.

Soon after graduating in 1994 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art from SUNY, Richichi received a scholarship from the Pastel Society of America to attend the Art Students League in New York City. Richichi studied ongoing at the Ridgewood Art Institute under John Phillip Osborne as well as with Garin Baker & Andrew Lattimore. She continued her studies through intensive workshops with master artists in both the Hudson River and more contemporary styles of art. Her career began as a portrait artist. Linda quickly found national acclaim, however, in 2001 she felt a calling for the wild. She turned to plein air painting, as she found that Mother Nature was the healing energy she needed to recover from a deeply resonating personal loss. This began her realization that art can help to heal us, too. Through her paintings you begin to “Experience the Energy” through the harmonized color vibrations in her art.

Linda’s work has exhibited extensively around North America including the prestigious National Arts Club in New York City with the Pastel Society of America in 1999, 2018 & 2019. In addition, her work has been published in the International Artist, Dec/Jan 2005, Art Times Journal June 2006, American Artist 2010, Gallery & Studio Nov/Dec 2013, Fine Art Connoisseur digital newsletter Sept. 2016 & 2018 Her intuitive painting workshop was included in a  New York Times article in 2015.
