I am a self-taught artist living and working outside of Houston, Texas. Pulling from my background in maritime and museum studies, I have a deep appreciation for conservation and the environment around us and try to reflect these ideologies in my work. Learning from both trials and errors, the act of painting is a liberating tool of expression that makes a difference in how I live and paint.
Each contemporary artwork develops its own personality as it evolves on the canvas, and it is through this process that my work begins to evoke movement, energy, and a sense of freedom. Through the application of bold colors and brushstrokes, I aim to illuminate a combination of joy, love of nature, and devil-may-care attitude.
I am thrilled to announce that I am now a sponsor for Rivers, Lakes, Bays ‘N Bayous Trash Bash Event which is hosted by the Texas Conservation Fund.
