Conrad’s work draws from the heritage of Italian techniques, while appreciating Scandinavian simplicity.
A Florida native, Conrad Williams has been creating with glass since 1998. He received his BFA from California College of the Arts in glass and sculpture. He settled into the Northwest after completing a yearlong internship with Ben Moore and Dale Chihuly. In 2008 Conrad and Erin Williams opened Studio West, an interactive gallery and glassblowing studio. The studio served as a venue for Conrad to make his work and as a teaching facility that was rated the number one thing to do in Eugene, Oregon.
Shortly after the birth of his first son, Conrad and Erin returned to their hometown, Naples, FL to pursue their creative endeavors. Conrad’s work continues to draw from the heritage of Italian techniques, while appreciating Scandinavian simplicity.
